Darryl King has been passionate about working with youth since he started coaching basketball at Howard S Billings high school in Chateauguay, in 2004.

The South Shore Youth Organization hosted an event where young female basketball players met with a role model, Tenicha Gittens, Head Coach for the Concordia Stingers women’s basketball team. Players had the opportunity to ask Gittens questions and learn more about her path towards success.

As we mark our fourth anniversary, the South Shore Youth Organization (SSYO) reflects on the incredible journey and achievements we've made together with the youth and families of Montreal's South Shore.
