Our team’s backgrounds in education and passion for working with youth drives us to give students the academic support they need to be successful, by providing services and resources such as tutoring, homework and exam help, and financial literacy.
TUTORING
SSYO’s Tutoring aims to ensure that all students achieve academic success and equity. The tutoring program supplements students’ day-to-day learning with academic support in Math, English, French, and exam preparation for final exams. SSYO’s Early Literacy Program aims to create positive associations with books and reading, fostering a love for literacy that contributes to academic success. In addition to subject-specific tutoring, SSYO also offers study skills workshops to help students develop effective learning strategies and time management skills. These workshops are designed to empower students to become independent learners and to build confidence in their academic abilities. The combination of targeted tutoring and skill-building workshops ensures a holistic approach to student success.
