1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SSYO’s websites, online platforms, registration systems, or in‑person programs (“Services”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
Some services require account creation. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. Programs involving minors require a parent or guardian to complete registration and provide consent.
3. Program Participation & Safety
Athletics and physical activity carry inherent risks. By participating or registering a minor, you acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all safety guidelines provided by SSYO coaches and staff. A respectful, inclusive environment is required at all times.
4. Fees, Payments, Donations & Refunds
Fees for programs, events, or purchases will be displayed at the time of registration. Refunds follow SSYO’s posted refund policies. Donations are non‑refundable except in cases of processing error. Some events or tickets may be non‑refundable unless otherwise stated.
5. Media, Photos & Recordings
SSYO may take photos or record video during programs for documentation or promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, or do not wish a minor to appear in media, please inform staff in writing. SSYO will make reasonable efforts to honour your request.
6. Acceptable Use & Conduct
Users must not engage in harassment, discrimination, disruptive conduct, misuse of facilities, or any behaviour that jeopardizes the safety of participants, volunteers, or staff. SSYO may remove individuals from programs or facilities for violations.
7. Intellectual Property
All logos, program materials, graphics, videos, and website content belong to SSYO unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce content without written permission.
8. Third‑Party Services
SSYO may use external platforms (e.g., payment processors, registration systems). SSYO is not responsible for third‑party terms, policies, or service issues. Users should review third‑party terms independently.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
Your use of our Services is also governed by SSYO’s Privacy Policy, which explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Québec law. Parental consent is required for minors.
10. Disclaimers
Programs and online content are provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, availability, or suitability. SSYO is not liable for interruptions, errors, or losses arising from the use of the Services.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Québec law, SSYO is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Liability, when it cannot legally be excluded, is limited to the amount paid for the specific program or service within the previous 3 months.
12. Changes to Terms
SSYO may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. When changes are significant, SSYO will provide notice through its website or by email.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and applicable federal laws. Any disputes shall be handled in the courts of Montréal, Québec.
